Détournement: Creative Life in Cement

In the flow of time, we immerse ourselves in everyday life, observing as stories gain strength the further they wander. With bated breath, I witness people navigating their day, feeling the pulsing rhythm of their unique emotions and desires.  I feel the vibrant music of Élan vital when everyone comes alive, feeling that there is no difference in life. It is the moment when everyone is equal. After gathering enough inspiration, I return home to breathe life into it, pouring and solidifying the raw materials, creating a creative routine that captures our current existence.

‘Capturing’ creative life, the lives of today.

전용으로서의 재료, 시멘트로 담아낸  창조적 일상.

지속(duree)의 시간 속에 펼쳐진 사회적 공간을 인지하며 삶이 펼쳐지는 보통의 일상을 ‘표류’한다. 더 멀리 더 넓게 표류할수록 이야기는 힘을 얻는다. 모두가 각자의 모습으로 하루의 시간을 감당해내는 순간을 숨죽여 바라본다. 움직임을 느낀다. 음악을 듣거나 춤을 추듯 살아있음으로 존재하는 이야기와 감정, 욕망의 리듬을 느낀다. 모두가 살아있는 순간. 차등이 없는 순간. 생명력(elan vital)이 연주하는 선율을 느낀다. 충분한 채집이 끝나면 집으로 돌아와 생기를 불어넣듯 색을 입힌다. 시대적 재료를 붓고 굳히기를 반복한다.
